- Disable 3429 symbol rate. I gather it reduces slightly the speed of
- connection, while allowing the speed to vary back to normal 28800 after
- connection.

- I've been experimenting. Try the normal connect string AT&F1, and add
- &M5 to force connection in ARQ mode. It might work. If you find out
- anything about USR's fragility, please let me know.
